Quijeremá has recorded Archeology of Memory Villa Grimaldi, a musical suite in three movements: Dreams; Darkness and the Body, and After the Fire, Water. The CD is in the process of production and will be ready later his year.

The musical suite is a reflection about aesthetics and terror, and comes out of a triptych (a documentary film, a book, and an exhibit) that deals with the experiences of Chilean artists who were repressed during the years of the dictatorial regime of Pinochet.

The music was writen for the award winning docuentary film Archeology of Memory Villa Grimaldi, directed by Quique Cruz and Marylin Muford.

Archeology of Memory: Villa Grimaldi
The film is a powerful, intense and imaginative musical journey. The film follows Bay Area Chilean exile musician Quique Cruz, from the Bay Area to Chile and back, as he creates his master work, a multimedia art piece to heal his wounds inflicted by state sponsored torture of the Pinochet regime.
