For the newcomers, you are visiting a whole new webpage designed by our friend Guillermo Prado and put together by another dear fried, Lautaro Cline. We welcome your comments. Some parts of the page are under construction and during the next month we will be uploading MPGs (various short videos from our music set to films).

We finished recording “Villa Grimaldi: Archeology of Memory in Three Cantos” and we are in the last touches of the mix.

We will be going on a tour to Venezuela next April and will be joined by Bay Area noted musician John Calloway! (www.johncalloway.com)

The group played at the 24th Encuentro del Canto Popular accompanying Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Melissa Rivera.

In late September and October the group conducted workshops and concerts at Mills College and Modesto Junior College.

On September 11th Quique presented an excerpt of the documentary “After the Fire, Water” that we are doing the score for. The screening took place in Chile at Villa Grimaldi: Parque por la Paz.

A fun project was recording music in-situ with drums and flutes and also  using the water and the trees as percussion in the rainforest of Venezuela for our film projects. You can listen to the MP3 “La Mirada”, and also the MP3 “The Gaze” under “music for films.”
